Amazon’s Music Service Not Affecting iTunes Very Much
I’ve been using Amazon MP3 downloads for about 6 months now and am very pleased. The music is cheaper than iTunes, higher quality and sans DRM - and the little Amazon downloader puts the songs right into iTunes for you. Amazon wins this one hands down. The only negative is that Amazon doesn’t yet have the selection that iTunes does. I’ve gotten to the point if Amazon doesn’t have a song that I want and iTunes does, I’ll wait to buy it from Amazon rather than get it from iTunes - Apple should be worried, very worried.
Agreed. And, since Amazon MP3 Downloads is a relatively new service, who knows what this will look like in a year or two.
