What I Think Will Happen
Call me cynical. But, I think a bunch of Apple/gadget aficionados will order both a Wi-FI iPad and a Wi-Fi/3G iPad on March 12th. They will have fun with the Wi-Fi versions from April 3rd until late April when their Wi-Fi/3G versions arrive. Then, as they will be within the 30-day window for returns, they will return the Wi-Fi models to Apple for refunds and keep their Wi-Fi/3G versions.
I wonder if Apple is implementing a restocking fee to compensate for this or if it will just eat the restocking costs.
